- The road to happiness begins with a walk down one narrow aisle.
Another Brown girl bit the dust this weekend. Megan and Clark got engaged on Saturday.

Amanda and I were given the responsibility of watching the bride-to-be while some plans were being laid. There couldn't be two worse people to keep a secret. We were both a wreck all day. I had to walk aways many times to let out a laugh. It's fun knowing a secret that will change someone's life very soon!

We did not take our duties lightly. We had all the preparations made that Clark needed. While they were eating supper, we were to ready the area. Will and Joe were also part of the fun! When we got to El Fenix to eat, the wait for Clark and Megan was over an hour so we high fived, ate some chips, and drank a cold one. (much needed at this point to calm my intense out-of-controlness) One minute we are eating and talking about the Middle East (why do conversations with Joe and Will always go there?) The next minute they were leaving Beehive in five minutes. We jumped and scurried around the restaurant like idiots and finally pulled ourselves together to pay and grab a couple of pralines for the road. While Joe is trained to be calm in these type of situations, I, myself am not and it was obvious. Amanda and I run to the table and start throwing things around. At this point Joe and Will walk up cool as cucumbers. Joe had a headlight on (not that dark outside).

There were several family symbols weaved through the night. They got engaged at Rose Park that her grandfather built and that quilt on the table is our Gan-Gan's.

We managed to get it all ready and then sneak off to where we would all wait in the shadows. Some would wait in a car...others in a tunnel to get the perfect shot!
The whole thing went off without a hitch and we had a VERY happy couple at the end of the night. It was now time to CELEBRATE over at the Brown's house. As a family, we celebrate in each other's happiness and love whoever is brought in! We are all EAGER about another wedding in our family!!
